read them carefully. We reserve the right to change/alter/modify these terms and
conditions at any and we suggest that you periodically visit this page to review
the most recent Terms & Conditions. The information and descriptions on the site
do not necessarily represent complete descriptions of all terms, conditions and
exclusions and the precise cover provided (as applicable) shall be included in the
schedule of cover, policy documents and/or conditions of purchase issued to you.
If you apply for any product or service detailed on the site, these Conditions of
Use should be read in conjunction with any additional terms and conditions relating
to that product or service and, in the event of any contradiction between these
Conditions of Use and the specific product of service terms and conditions, the
latter shall prevail.
Definition of Service
Easypolicy.com, provides users with information about General Insurance and Life
Insurance products to enable comparison and procurement. You may submit your request
for booking your desired policy by filling in the required forms on Easypolicy.com
and making the payment online. After we receive your payment, we assist you in completing
your proposal (incl. forms and documents), which is then to be sent to us. On physical
verification of the same, provided there is no missing information, your proposal
is submitted with the insurance company, within 2 working days under normal circumstances,
for underwriting. The insurance company then, may accept, reject or raise an objection
on your proposal, which will be communicated to you by Easypolicy. It is Easypolicy’s
endeavour to have every booked policy issued; however we cannot guarantee the same.
Easypolicy will, in case of an objection or rejection, assist you in complying or
reapplying to another insurance company as the case may permit.
Fees and Charges
Easypolicy offers a FREE service and charges NO FEES OR CHARGES from it’s users.
Every payment accepted by Easypolicy.com, is accepted as premium against your desired
insurance policy and collected in an exclusive Client A/c, which is transferred
to the insurance company in full on receipt of your proposal. Easypolicy, being
part of an insurance broking company, charges the insurance companies a broking
fee.
Limitations to Service
Our website contains statements regarding the terms of insurance policies, including
details of the benefits available and items not covered by such policies. Some of
these statements are generalised in an attempt to give you a summary of the insurance
policies available through easypolicy.com. However, not all insurance policies are
the same and you should confirm the exact terms of any insurance policy that you
intend to purchase prior to purchasing that insurance policy. The product information
supplied on the website is available only to Indian residents. Except as otherwise
expressly permitted in writing by Sonnen Insurance Broking Services Pvt. Ltd., no
materials from this website or any website owned, operated, licensed or controlled
by us may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, hyperlinked,
or distributed in any way. You may download material displayed on this website for
your use only and provided you do not remove any copyright and other proprietary
notices contained on the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse,
repost, link or use the content of this website for public or commercial purposes,

The rates mentioned on the website may not be final and binding. In some cases,
the insurance company may intimate the final rates after submission of the given
premium and documentation as communicated to you by Easypolicy and the process of
underwriting conducted by the insurance company, which may or may not lead to extra
charges. Further, the rates mentioned on the website are as provided or verified
by insurance companies. The rates are subject to change at any time and we take
no responsibility of any losses in such cases. Please note that service tax is payable
on insurance premium as per applicable laws and all your premium quoted and collected
by Easypolicy includes the same. The insurance company reserves the right to recover
from the policyholder or proposer, any levies and duties (including service tax),
as imposed by the government, either by premium adjustment or other forms, as deemed
appropriate. Kindly refer to the proposal for the exact fees and charges.
Easypolicy.com is an insurance broking website that collects premium on behalf of
the insurance companies. Premium paid at easypolicy in no way means that the policy
has been issued. Issuance of the policy is at the sole discretion of the insurance
company. The policy issuance is subject to the process of underwriting and risk
assessment by the insurance company after submission of payment and complete documentation
and medical examination if required. Based on underwriting, an insurance company
may accept or decline an insurance proposal. Any insurance product sold will be
solely on terms and conditions of the concerned insurance company. In case the proposal
is declined, or has to be cancelled on the customer’s request, the refund is processed
by the respective insurance company, deductions subject to the insurance company
norms. Please read the information about the policy in the insurance company brochure
before concluding the sale.
Refund Policy
Until your proposal is submitted with the insurance company, you may, if you are
dissatisfied with the services provided by Easypolicy, send an email to customercare@policyengine.in
requesting a refund, detailing the reason for the same. Your premium amount will
be credited back to your Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking/Bank account, depending
upon your mode of payment, within 9 working days of your confirmation. However,
if your proposal has been forwarded to the insurance company, your refund will be
processed by the insurance company as per their respective refund policies. In such
cases, you will be required to communicate with them directly, although we may assist
you in the process.
"We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss
or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for
any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually
agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time"
Claim Settlement
Claim settlement is the sole responsibility and at the discretion of the insurance
companies, regulated by IRDA. The settlement will take place between the customers
and the respective insurance company and Easypolicy shall not be responsible for
the same in any manner. Although we may assist you in forwarding the case to the
insurance company, we shall not be liable to any party involved in case the claim
is declined, or honoured.
