Star Health’s Diabetes Safe is designed for people suffering from Type I and Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The plan not only covers ailments caused due to diabetes, it also covers normal hospitalization, outpatient expenses and accidental death.
Step 1 – the policyholder chooses the Sum Assured and the members covered.
Step 2 – the insured has to undergo medical check-ups before the plan is issued. The cost of the expenses is borne by the insurance company.
Step 3- If the covered member (s) face any medical contingency and the related expenses are covered by the plan the expenses incurred are paid by the plan.
Step 4 – if the plan matures and no medical contingencies occur, no benefit is paid.
